Instructor

Stuart Willcocks
Tech Lead/Design Engineer, Google

Stuart is the Technical Lead for Google’s AV Product Engineering team. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, a Master’s degree in Network Engineering, and both AVIXA CTS-D and CTS-I certifications. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the IET.

Stuart's career in the AV industry began thirty five years ago. He originally trained as a lighting designer and sound engineer, enjoying several years working in theatre and live events. Later he joined the BBC, working on a variety of broadcast infrastructure projects. This was followed by ten years designing and building audio-visual and interactive experiences for museums and exhibitions around the world. Prior to joining Google, he was responsible for running a cutting-edge event space for use by partners of the McLaren F1 team.
